Safeguarding and mental health

Our Safeguarding qualifications are designed for people who have contact with children, young people or vulnerable adults in their working environment including voluntary work. You will be taught you how to recognise the signs of abuse and neglect and what actions you can take to stop this from happening and occurring again in the future.

These programmes emphasise the importance of ensuring that safeguarding concerns are reported and acted upon appropriately.

Our First Aid for Mental Health qualifications provides the knowledge to recognise a wide range of mental health conditions and learn about the support/therapy provided by professional healthcare providers.

Learners will know how to start a supportive conversation, along with when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help. Learners will also learn about the first aid action plan for mental health, be able to put it into place and know how to implement a positive mental health culture in the workplace.
