An Awareness of Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events

From football matches to festivals, concerts to car races, there are thousands of spectator events every year that require stewards. Stewards are responsible for ensuring the safety of spectators and ensuring that an event runs smoothly.

The content of this course perfectly matches the knowledge components syllabus of the Highfield Level 2 Award in Understanding Stewarding at Spectator Events (RQF). The course may also be used to underpin the knowledge required of Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety (RQF) qualification.

 

Please note, this e-learning course does not provide a qualification. Learners need to take training and assessment through an approved training provider to gain a qualification.

Syllabus:

The course content includes:

  • Prepare for spectator events
  • Control the entry, exit and movement of people at spectator events
  • Monitoring spectators and dealing with crowd problems
  • Dealing with accidents and emergencies
Assessment:

Learners are assessed at the end of the course by multiple-choice questions.

Certification:

This course is a Highfield Qualifications accredited programme and learners will receive a Highfield e-learning completion certificate, which is downloadable upon successfully finishing the course.
